A helpful leather care tip

Home furnishings, carpets, and vinyl trim repair

When caring for leather, it can be very tempting to use common household cleaning products. Many people gravitate towards products that they already have around the house, like baby wipes or other types of cleaning wipes. While these products seem like an excellent way to keep your leather looking clean, they are actually terrible for leathers overall longevity.

Many of these products contain chemicals such as alcohol that can cause the protective coat on your leather to be compromised, completely ruining the finish of your leather products.

Always make sure your cleaning products are made specifically for leather and contain no alcohol or silicone, which will dry out the leather.
